Flood hazard and risk are set to double by 2050 as a result of climate change.  Being prepared is key to improving the resilience of communities to these extreme events.

The University of Hull, Lancaster University and The Environment Agency have worked together to develop 360 degree virtual reality stories, telling the experience of flooding through children's eyes.

Teaching and learning resources have been developed to support the initiative. The resources are aimed at Key Stages 3 and 4 and centre around a sequence of three lesson plans that encourage students to explore the issues raised by the videos in more detail and build on this learning by planning local action on flood risk.
