25 local projects demonstrating how practical innovative actions can improve resilience to flooding and coastal erosion in a changing climate.
The 6-year programme of projects will guide future approaches in flood and coastal risk management. It will consider flood risk from the sea, rivers, groundwater and surface water.
The programme aims to test and demonstrate innovative resilience approaches locally, building the evidence-base behind them particularly on costs and benefits, improving resilience in local areas and informing future approaches across the country.
